There's a girl I really like and I was told she likes me back by my friends and by watching a couple of YouTube videos on body language to tell if a girl likes you back. and boy was i surprised to learn she's interested in me. She's often shy around me so I have to approach her. But when we start talking her frown starts turning upside-down and so does mine. So my question is how do I ask her out with out scaring her or hurting her feelings?

Hi everyone. Sorry for being inactive but I've been occupied by doing a production of the Wizard of Oz. I want to share a story of my interactions with a girl who I communicated with on Plenty of Fish. At first then conversation was going really well as we were chatting about our shared interests, I got her phone number and everything appeared to be going in a good direction. When it came time to arrange a date, she said she wanted to do it and agreed a place to meet but when it came time to choose a day and time to meet, she didn't answer. I sent that text asking when suits her to meet about 10-15 minutes after she agreed on where to meet. She didn't answer the text when I asked if everything was okay and it got to the point where I just wished her luck and said I wouldn't be in touch again. I'm not sure what happened to decide not to reply just minutes after saying she wanted to go on a date and I also don't know why someone would give out their phone number to someone they didn't plan on meeting. I've asked people I know who can't understand why she would do that so I reach out to here to ask this community if you can theorise what happened as it is still something that baffles me
