What's Your Preferred ESP?
What do you look for in an ESP?
Why do you like/love the one you use currently?
For me, the story will (re)start today.
I wanna put my website up again and I'm looking into different ESPs, because I want to have a form to join the email list.
Thing is, I'm unsure of which ESP to choose, with my current requirements being a free plan, 1 automation (for the welcome sequence), and good formatter.
I've tested out:
- Sender.net
- Brevo
- Moosend
- Kit
- Mailerlite
- Aweber
And none of them is perfect.
Though I've narrowed down my list to Kit and Mailerlite.
They both have free plans and allow for automation(s). But pasting from a Google Doc is not quite ideal.
Kit's paste looks generally better but has 2 blank lines after each sentence, so I gotta go erase them all
Mailerlite has the reverse problem. Lines are too close to each other, unless I add double-spacing which still looks kinda odd.
If I keep working from a Google Doc and pasting there, Mailerlite is the hassle-free choice.
But there's also the option of writing in Kit first and then pasting to the doc.
So, in classic GC manner, I wont decide until the last moment
