What’s in store for Easter?
Reposting this one…See my latest comment… What is on your hook today? I was thinking about this. I thought a prawn!! Actually I never really mastered ariimigumi , I can’t spell it or pronounce it either! But years ago I lived on a canal boat, pulling my craft boat. Somewhere I must have a photo of the Prawn.. I remember it my shop and someone bought it! It was a pink prawn! it will soon be Easter.. have you ever made Easter chicks? Easter bunnies? , I really don’t have the patience to follow a pattern to make amigurumi myself but I taught my sister two stitch crochet and she made this Easter pannel.. Just chain and slip stitch.

Bit of crochet
A cowl with puff stitches and double crochet. Now started working on a beanie to go with it.

My mistake!
I am making the extraordinary pentagon cardigan. I am really enjoying the challenge to reshape the front “ that doesn’t align with a sweater”. If you’re moving from a hexagon to a pentagon, the construction logic changes completely. While a hexagon cardigan uses two large pieces folded into "L" shapes, a pentagon cardigan is typically a modular project using many smaller pentagons joined together. Because a pentagon has an odd number of sides (5), it doesn't fold into the symmetrical "L" shape needed for the viral "hexi-cardi" method. If you try to fold a pentagon like a hexagon, you'll end up with a shape that doesn't align for a sweater. How would you do it?

Blanket for my first child.
It has been so cold this year on the east coast. I made my 17yo a blanket with their favorite colors. Bulky chenille yarn by loops and threads. Just worked front post back post all the way through.
