Inspired a bit
I usually host a Chunky Blanket Hand Knitting class, but with warmer weather here, I thought a blanket would be too heavy. I started looking for chunky tote patterns online, but all used yarn i would have to buy and I wanted to make the cost and process easy. Then, I remembered the simple chain and slip stitch methods that @Roslyn Hill teaches combined with finger crochet methods and designed this tote!

Is there a Proper way to teach crochet?
I teach crochet through play projects. I use a latch hook instead of a traditional hook because it’s easy to get started that way. The first project is a flower and that is easy To pull through all the loops using a latch hook. I call it art, the crocheter is the designer. One of my kids made a bug today, she said it was a ladybird. There was a definite pair of wings and little feet, but no red colour or spots in sight! https://open.substack.com/pub/roslynh/p/why-i-stopped-teaching-crochet-the?r=bwl8d&utm_medium=ios&utm_source=post-publish

It could be just 10 but I need a likely infinite number, so 100 it is. I had a wonderful class today in my local library 4 children were new.
