🔥 WEEKLY CHALLENGE — THE “CINEMATIC EYE” CHALLENGE 🎥
This week, we’re fixing one of the biggest struggles you guys shared: ➡️ “I don’t know which angles to shoot.” ➡️ “I want my shots to look more cinematic.” ➡️ “I film like I’m holding a phone, even when I use a camera.” So this week’s challenge is simple: 🎯 Challenge: Create ONE 10–20 second cinematic sequence using 5 different angles. Your task is to take a simple moment — making coffee, walking to the gym, packing your bag, sitting at your desk —and film it like a director, not a casual filmer. 🎬 Your angle checklist: 1. Wide establishing shot — sets the scene 2. Medium action shot — the main movement 3. Close-up detail — hands, eyes, objects, textures 4. Low angle — gives drama + depth 5. POV shot — puts the viewer inside the moment 📌 Rules: - Keep it raw, simple, and intentional - No fancy edits needed - Focus on composition, movement, and storytelling - Post it in the group when you’re done 💡 Tip: If you’re unsure how to capture something, ask yourself: “How would a movie show this moment?” This challenge will train your eye, your confidence behind the camera, and your instinct for cinematic storytelling. Let’s level up the art of our shots this week. Can’t wait to see what you create. 🎥🔥
