Youtube Membership Verses Communities?

I have been down in a few rabbit holes, I see some people have a membership on there channel, where for a fee you can pay so much a month to join, there are also perks when you join them.

Talks about getting a community when you doing Youtube. I tag Alexa in this hoping she will comment as I hope others can give me an insight to the pros and cons of both. Maybe even someone here has a membership or a Community?
