💡 About the job:
- Role within the Photo and Audiovisual Studio team supporting PR and Marketing campaigns
- Focus on photo and video asset creation for Japanese Original content
- Covers anime, scripted and unscripted series, films, documentaries, and comedy specials
- Work bridges creative production and global communication strategy
- Strong individual contributor role without direct reports
- Requires close collaboration with Marketing, Publicity, Social, Product, and Content teams
- Emphasis on culturally relevant and audience-focused storytelling
🎯 Responsibilities:
- Align content strategies with cross-functional partners
- Deliver photo and audiovisual assets that support campaign goals
- Lead on-set creative coverage including planning and supervision of crews
- Review scripts and plan coverage to capture key campaign moments
- Manage talent time effectively during production
- Conduct interviews with on-screen and off-screen talent
- Work with photographers, videographers, and vendors to maintain quality
- Contribute to new approaches in capturing and delivering campaign assets
- Support campaigns across Japan and the wider APAC region
🛠️ Qualifications:
- 6 or more years of experience in entertainment, media, or lifestyle content roles
- Background in production, creative agencies, media houses, or editorial environments
- Strong on-set production and creative execution experience
- Solid understanding of visual storytelling for marketing and PR
- Established network within Japan’s photography and video industry
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro
- Strong project management and multitasking skills
- Business-level fluency in Japanese
- English proficiency preferred
- Alignment with Netflix values including judgment, curiosity, and impact
