New Choral Piece! - what inspires you?
Et in terra pax hominibus bonae voluntatis…”And on earth peace to people of good will.
I’ve just released a new choral piece, Et in Terra Pax, from my Mass setting.
This section comes early in the Gloria and is intentionally still and prayerful. Set in E♭ major, the harmony barely moves, allowing the vocal lines to unfold gently — more like a prayer than a declaration.
Peace here isn’t proclaimed loudly; it’s received.
