✨ New Choral Release – Cum Sancto Spiritu ✨
I’ve just completed Cum Sancto Spiritu, the concluding movement of the Gloria from my Mass No. 2. The piece opens with a rapid descending figure in the instruments, inspired by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2. From there, the music flows into a gentle, river-like lilt, with harp textures supporting the choir, before gradually building in counterpoint and richness of texture. This movement brings the Gloria to its joyful close:Cum Sancto Spiritu, in gloria Dei Patris. Amen. 🎶 SATB Choir with orchestral accompaniment🎼 Sacred choral music with flowing, lyrical writing https://www.paulnoblecomposer.com/mass-2/ I’d love to know what images or moments the music evokes for you.

Finished!
This piece has taken much sweat and frustration and four goes but I've finished this Laudamus Te! What do you think? I think its a bit like a spicy pizza and was worth the stress. As a creative have you experienced this kind of hard work to get something different created? Please can subscribe to my YouTube channel. Thx

✨ New Music | Gloria from Mass No. 2 ✨
I’ve just released a new movement from my Mass No. 2: 🎶 “Quoniam Tu Solus” (Gloria) This section focuses on the powerful declaration:“You alone are the Holy One. You alone are the Lord.” After Jesu Christe, I introduce “Laudamus Te” as a kind of choral response — a moment of collective praise before the concluding Cum Sancto Spiritu (set as a separate movement). Written in E♭ minor, this music is intended both for liturgical use and concert performance, and may also be sung a cappella. If this speaks to you, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Please feel free to share with anyone who loves sacred choral music. “Quoniam Tu Solus” from my Mass No. 2 — a Gloria movement centred on the words “You alone are the Lord.” Dark, intense, and ultimately an act of praise, with “Laudamus Te” returning as a choral response. 🎧 Listen here:https://youtu.be/vmXqhi1uNUs
