GramoFrame 2026
Yesterday was the GramoFrame music video festival awards in Los Angeles. Great to see the screenings, and also the panels with the creators. Festivals are a great opportunity to get to know people!

THIS IS FOR ALL FILMMAKERS.
I'm looking to speak with 10 filmmakers over the next couple of days. If you're feeling stuck creatively, struggling to finish projects, or trying to become a better filmmaker, I'd love to chat. It'll be a relaxed 30-45 minute conversation where I'll help you identify what's holding you back, ask you some questions and give you clear next steps based on your situation.
THIS IS FOR ALL FILMMAKERS.
Serious question for filmmakers and creators
When you don’t have the budget you need, do you wait… or find another way forward?Crowdfunding changed things for me. Curious how others here handle this.
Hi everyone! 👋
I’m Tafadzwa from the UK, Huddersfield and I’m excited to be part of this community. I’m passionate about filmmaking and visual storytelling. Over the past year I’ve been investing heavily in learning cinematography, lighting, sound, camera movement, colour grading, and everything that goes into creating films that people genuinely connect with. I’m currently producing my first narrative short film, Overtime, and it’s been an incredible learning experience—from pre-production and shot planning to building a small production setup and working with actors. Alongside that, I also create YouTube content and podcasts, so I’m always looking for ways to improve my storytelling and production quality. I joined this community because I believe the fastest way to grow is by learning from other filmmakers, sharing ideas, giving and receiving honest feedback, and building relationships with people who love the craft as much as I do. If anyone would be willing to mentor me, review my work, or share advice that could help make Overtime the best film it can be, I’d be incredibly grateful. Whether it’s feedback on cinematography, lighting, directing, editing, or storytelling, I’m here to learn and would really appreciate your guidance. Looking forward to getting to know you all, seeing your work, and learning together. Thanks for having me! 🎬

What´s the first name that comes to your mind? Let´s don´t overthink this - mine is SPIKE JONZE Cause he started with making skate films and branched into other mediums.... And growing up i LOVED his skate movies.... He later went on to direct HER, Where the Wild Things go and also Jackass.. so quiet versatile. Looking forward to hear about yours!
