How to quickly get first ideal clients as a freelance filmmaker?
A student asked me how to get their first paying client without a portfolio. 🤔💰 If you have basic skills, try this: 1. Pick a niche you love ❤️ – like kitesurfing, for example. 2. Offer a free test project 🎥 – Ask a local shop owner if you can make a short promo video for them. In return, have them display it in their store, let you leave business cards the store, and post it on your website with your name --> SPREAD IT 3. Use it as proof ✅ – Now have a real project to show. Pitch other kitesurfing shops or surf brands - maybe even somebody lurks on the website of the Surf Shop you promoted and likes your work - Start with low prices, and increase them as you gain experience and proof. 🚀 For Inspiration: FREE TEST PROJECT EXAMPLE: A Tribute to One Eye PAID FILM FOR CLIENT: The Invention of the WetSuit by Jack O´Neill

What is the camera you are using right now?
Do you use your phone? A DSLR camera? Which camera do you use?

What would you do, if you could not fail?
Finish this Sentence and comment below If I could not fail and would go all in on myself I would _____________________________ Not "what's realistic." Not "what can you afford." What would you actually go after? Most of us don't dream too small—we act too small because we're trying to avoid failure. Here's the twist: failure is usually just feedback. The people you admire didn't avoid it; they moved through it. Let's see what you're really capable of. 👇 Drop one thing you'd start today if failure wasn't an option.
