Today’s walk wasn’t about getting my steps in. It was about connecting and training my eyes.
I find beauty in places most people would walk right past without a second thought.
A single leaf lounging in a patch of clover like it owned the place.
A discarded beer can with a whole untold backstory.
A weird piece of roadside debris that made me stop and go, “Wait… what is that?”
Black seal coat footprints etched in the road like random street art.
A rabbit that startled me, then paused like, “Yeah, you’re welcome for this heart pumping moment.”
When you walk, don’t just move through the world. See it. Really see it.
Listen to the birds like they’re performing just for you. (The video is for you if you don’t get to see much nature)
Feel the breeze like it’s trying to tell you something.
Study the textures, the colors, the tiny details everyone else scrolls past in real life.
Inspiration isn’t just hanging out in epic landscapes waiting for you to show up. It’s scrappy. It’s weird. It’s hiding in cracks, clover patches, and forgotten corners.
Take a walk. Ditch the expectations. Bring your curiosity, your weirdness, your willingness to notice.
Because the world is constantly throwing creative sparks at you—you just have to catch them.
None of these are “photo worthy” but examples of how the journey can help train your eyes to see what others miss.
So take some time this weekend and put your observation glasses on… what did you notice that you might have missed before?
