MiniZines
I am teaching this Children’s song to my twin great-grand-daughters. I thought it would make a cool little book, so I learned to make a mini-zine out of one piece of paper. You fold it, make 1 cut, then unfold it, then fold it again a particular way for the little 8 page book. YouTube has videos on the procedure. AI created the art. So, none of this is original, but I plan to make some original ones in the future.

Reflection
Hello there each of you beautiful creators, I have been driving a lot back and forth through Houston Texas on 6 lane traffic with all kinds of on and off connecting freeways that is zapping my energy. My new job has a learning curve with it also. Learning and studying a lot to keep up the pace. I have drawn these two faces and haven’t picked ip a pencil in over a week but it feels wonderful to have my own sketchbook with art in it. This I just love about moving forward. The Lord is teaching me through prayer and surrender about myself in all this process. I learned that I am very independent and it is apparent that some rules broken. However, my new job requires many rules and I must keep others accountable for them. I found my heart tired and frantically trying to solve a problem with the driving. But I am learning, it is fully The Holy Spirit that opens the heart to receive strength, faith and trust. The heart in supplication prayers is a benefit for awareness and belief to grow. I am gathering materials for the creative block as I also document my process as I work through my own blocks right now. Blessings to each of your endeavors and hope you will create something you would like to share with us in your own post. Thanks for being here

As It Is Now, Not What I Want It To Be
If I wait until I am ready with how I want to present this community, it will be a while. I start a new job on 2/2/26. I am completing 48 training sessions at home, self-directed with my own internal motivation. One of the Trainings last night was 4 one hour videos and reading. In my past jobs, we got to work and get paid for the training. In this situation, we will get paid in 90 days for CEU’s according to their pay scale. Right now, 3 hour video training but yesterday and today’s is exceptional❣️ I am on 31 out of 48. So I have been playing with watercolor painting. Because I finally feel like it and accomplishing two things at the same time. Really, forced to sit still. 😂 I want to invite you along with me to play with some art materials of your choice. Just go with your intuition, desire, curiosity and sit down to play without critique and-without a product in mind. Just play along the lines of your emotions at the time and your in motion idea as you go. Post your play session in this feed or post it as a new post whatever you feel comfortable with. I am in process of playing with a watercolor wash type background and ink pen on top with some more pigmented water color details as I move along. No plan just play. Creative cooking is also good. I just felt good enough to cook for myself and I feel it is due to wanting to create community with you. So I posted my breakthrough as well. I have been eating cereal, apples and oranges and home made soup for a good many days, weeks. Months with this minimal diet. Blessings It feels really good to create self-care❣️

The Crowd
My play with watercolor paints today. I practiced to let myself know that self-critique isn’t tolerated in this session of play. I focused on color, shapes and line with some form of balance. Any other thought or feeling was redirected to scanning over the pictorial balance and see if I could find any recognizable object. I had a prayers heart as I opened to possibilities and asked to be cleansed from the tendency to pre-judge the work as a mess-up. I reinforced this prayer with thoughts that stated the piece isn’t complete and there is always room for more layers. This time helped me feel lighter in my emotions and my heart felt a little freer. Blessings
