🎸
There’s a saying: “When you drink the water, remember who dug the well.” As rockstars, it’s easy to focus on our own journey, but behind every milestone are countless people who made it possible.
Look at someone like Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour. She had hundreds of people behind the scenes, and she didn’t forget them — she gave out millions in bonuses to show her gratitude.
We can do the same on a smaller scale.
🎯 Today’s Mini-Challenge: Three Layers of Gratitude
1. Thank Someone in Your Personal Life:
Send a quick message or say a genuine “thank you” to someone close to you — a friend, a family member, a mentor. Let them know you appreciate them.
2. Thank Someone Outside Your Inner Circle:
Think of someone who impacted you indirectly — maybe they gave you an opportunity, shared advice long ago, or inspired you from a distance. Reach out and let them know how they made a difference.
3. Thank Someone You’ll Never Meet (But Who Made Your Path Easier):
This could be a public figure, an inventor, or someone who paved the way in your field. If you’re a guitarist, maybe it’s a nod to Les Paul. If you’re inspired by strong voices, maybe it’s a shout-out to someone like Lady Gaga for standing up for individuality. Even if you never meet them, acknowledging their impact matters.
🎸 Rockstar Reminder
Gratitude isn’t just a feel-good exercise. It’s how we remember that none of us rise alone. Every rockstar stands on the shoulders of a whole lot of unsung heroes.
Let’s not forget to thank them.
