Pricing advice for social media post automation using Make & Airtable
Hi everyone,
I’m starting to get my first prospects as a freelancer in automation. I’d love to get your thoughts on pricing for a specific automation project I’m working on.
Here’s the automation I’m building:
  • The system allows users to automatically generate social media posts adapted to different platforms from an idea or a link.
  • I’m creating an Airtable base to manage ideas and posts, which will also include a publishing calendar.
  • The posts will be generated, scheduled, and published automatically via Make.
  • I’ll integrate all the necessary tools and offer a live video session to explain how it works.
Additionally, I’m considering adding a second layer (maybe a 2d proposal) where posts are generated from keywords linked to trending topics or news updates. T
Clarifications:
  • This is not Stephen G. Pope Kontent automation. I'm doing it from scratch.
My question:
  • How would you price such a one-off automation setup?
  • How do you price any automation ? Do you have a method ?
I want to make sure I’m offering fair pricing while also reflecting the value of the solution. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
PS: I'm offering my services in France so pricing might be lower than in US or somewhere else.
