I know a lot of us are online and in communities to build a business.
And we're always faced with that balance of creating value and doing commerce.
I don't think we need to hide that (in fact I hope everyone here in this community makes a lot of money and does business with each other).
But there is a balance. You certainly don't want to post and DM people that essentially looks like a pitch.
I wanted to point out 2 recent example posts that I think did a good job of providing value—BUT could also lead to business. This approach in my honest opinion will lead to a lot more business and goodwill within a community.
