Content is hard, I think we all agree on that.
I’ve seen a lot of people never start (when they said they would). I’ve seen a lot of people post a couple of times and then quit.
Frankly, I’ve wanted to quit too.
I’ve seen a lot over the last few years... Including what my clients have gone through.
I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about why 99% never start or quit. And why the 1% succeed.
While trying to figure it out and create solutions, I realized I was only going surface-deep. Attacking symptoms instead of the root cause.
I’d build systems to help people generate ideas, script videos, launch podcasts… post-produce content and distribute it… etc.
The list of systems and processes goes on and on.
If it wasn’t a system, it was blocking off time on their calendar.
Time and time again those things still didn’t work for some.
Over time it kind of hit me.
A lot of people just don’t fundamentally believe it will work for them.
Something nags them deep in their mind that this isn’t going to work.
If you don’t believe something, you won’t make it a priority.
You’ll add in other activities just in case the videos fail.
You won’t prioritize it.
I’ve struggled with a lot of things related to video, imposter syndrome, fatigue, and finding the time. But belief wasn’t one of them.
To me it’s pretty obvious—I just looked around at really successful people saying video and social was the key to success. They looked legit and I trusted them.
But since I know a lot of people have doubts, I put together a quick video to help.
It’s simple proof, advice, strategy, and tactics to create money from video (from people you want to work with and are ready to go!).
