I am so glad you have found your way here.
My name is Chandana Namal Rathnayake, and my journey to this moment has been a "middle path" of its own. For years, I wore the robes of a Buddhist monk, receiving a traditional education and training. Today, I work as a Registered Therapist, helping people navigate the noise and complexity of modern life.
I created the Compassion Circle because I realized that healing the past and building a congruent future cannot be done in isolation or without moment to moment awareness.
What we are doing here:
This space is dedicated to practice compassion for yourself and the world around you, withholding our urge to judge, advise and problem-solve.
How to begin your journey:
To keep our Circle strong and focused, I invite you to take these three steps today:
  1. Introduce Yourself: Comment below and share: What is one area of your life where you are seeking more "congruence" (alignment between your inner truth and outer actions)?
  2. Read the Covenant: Visit the "About" section and familiarize yourself with our guidelines on confidentiality and deep listening.
  3. Start the Path: Head over to the Classroom tab and listen to the body awareness session.
My Promise to You:
I am here not as a "perfect master," but as a fellow traveller and a professional guide. I will share insights from the therapy room, the meditation, and life to help you find your own centre.
