Running live courses/challenges πŸ’¬ Comments under lessons please!πŸ˜ƒ
I've run a lot of programs and live launches inside groups over the years, from as small as 12 students, to as many as 1000+ people and one thing that really helps is having daily things people can do to keep on track.
We are currently running our first live round of a course inside my client group here and one thing that is limiting the CX is not having an ability to comment under the lessons.
I know this was an option before and we have been told of a workaround to pin to module but here are a few of the things I have noticed this week:
βœ… We can only pin a post to one module so for instance this week we haven't been able to pin our weekly accountability thread (which was our workaround) to each module/lesson so have had to do the url share (which isn't as clear to the user).
βœ… As not everyone in our group is doing the live course this week I am mindful of not making too many posts related to that (and too many posts in general).
βœ… Having separate Skool group would solve the issue above, but again not ideal as the whole classroom idea is what makes here great (eg they can see ALL the courses in one group).
βœ… If the live course is a paid area that others in the group don't have access to we have nowhere to hold a private discussion re that. There are some things you don't want them to be privvy to without paying to join and right now it's impossible to do so in a group format unless you hold a Zoom etc.
In order for us to run live things inside our group I would really love the option for students to be able to comment under lessons. Not a whole group, but allowing them to put a sentence or two under each lesson (module).
One thing Mighty Networks do really well is allowing functions like this to be turned on or off by the creator. Here is an example under a lesson from a program that we run, as you can see it's really nice when they see all those 100+ people ahead of them who have already done the task and commented.
I know we are trying to keep things simple (which I like), but something like this is quite essential for me to run multiple things live in this manner without having to create dozens of groups.
I would love this feature to be an option pretty please for all us course creators and live launchers (and also if Skool and Mighty could have a baby that would be fab too πŸ˜ƒ)
Thank you for reading, considering (and +1ing).
