How I reached Goat level on Skool ...so you can too.
Hi team, I thought a quick post with a Loom would help and give you some tips here and in your groups...
...especially for all the new people joining - welcome to the family btw, you are looking amazing today.
For some context, I have been here at Skool a few years, so I had naturally leveled up to level 6 over time, but the gap to get to level 7 was huge, to be honest, I never set a goal to get there.
It happened naturally.
And get this ...I never had a group on Skool, only a client using it as part of his DWY offer (now at over $1m in revenue), so I had no alternative motive in leveling up.
I only had test groups to know the software.
Let's step back a few months...
I was a bit depressed after Christmas, my birthday, and New Year, as I was trying to work out what to do next with my business, I had just made $25k from royalties I didn't need to work as such...
...I was bored with working online and sitting in front of my computer, I needed to do something fun.
...so in the middle of this existential crisis, I just started answering people's questions here!
I enjoyed it.
I like being thoughtful, and inspirational and I like to see people start businesses and make lots of cash.
...so now I had a purpose and I had found a passion.
I was no longer depressed.
That's the secret...
...find something you like to do, that is fun and be useful, you will make money.
How do you "be useful" in Skool?
Learn how to write thoughtfully and insightfully, so if someone posts a question or makes a post here or in your group, do these steps -
  • pause, think, and ask why (don't rush a reply)
  • be thoughtful (consider how they feel)
  • start with a compliment (be positive)
  • answer without your ego (forget yourself)
  • expect nothing in return (it's not about you)
Other little things would be to tag the person you are replying to if appropriate and use a GIF and emojis to make it more fun. Use screenshots or a Loom video to explain more complicated stuff.
If you haven't started your group in Skool
  • find your purpose, to become your passion
  • start a group on Skool about it
  • make money!
Thank you to all the friends I have met here, and the new partners I am co-creating with in Skool.

...make friends, have fun, make money!
PS. I have now started a Skool community as an extension of my passion for helping people start a Skool Community business to make money. It is a niche research based group to determine if there is demand and workout the needs of these joining.
...we will be also experimenting with a "pay-as-you-want" monthly subscription model …based on the value you can make any payment (min $5), we use the payment averages to determine the eventual set monthly fee.
You can join the experiment by checking it out here
