Retention - How to make clients stay longer on your Skool (Paid or free)
  1. Weekly calls (3 times per week)
  2. 1 value post/day (step-by-step guides work best)
  3. New courses often (every 2 months)
  4. 1 guest call/month (e.g., 7-figure expert explains..)
  5. Lock some courses for certain member levels to keep them longer and engaged
  6. Giveaways
  7. Name your Zoom calls with the subject (e.g., How to maximize productivity - mini training before Q&A)
  8. Grandfathering price - if a member joins when the price is $62/month and then the price goes to $125/month, they will think twice to leave because they will have to rejoin at the new price
  9. After 1 month unlock this, after 2 months unlock this, after 3 this etc. (THIS FEATURE IS COMING SOON)
  10. Onboarding calls (If you have too many members, do group onboarding calls)
  11. Get the member a quick win in a month or even faster!
  12. DM people that cancel with a funny gif, for example, and start a conversation with them to learn why and FIX IT.
The more of those you implement into your groups, the faster the growth and retention will be!
Hormozi's strategy with GymLaunch was - 5 Horsemen of retention:
  1. Exit interviews (when someone tries to cancel, you or your team interview them to learn why - 50% of the people will go back into the program just because of that)
  2. ReachOuts (You or your customer success reach out every 2-3 weeks showing that you care for them and their success)
  3. Attendance (Someone that will cancel has a pattern - shows 3 times/week, then 2 times/week, then 1 and then cancel. So have a system in place when someone goes at the certain 'trigger' level ramp up the reach out)
  4. Handwritten cards (Every month or so, send a handwritten card or something personal to them)
  5. Member events (They can also bring friends for free so your clients eventually do lead generation for you. Do them every 6 weeks and on every event, announce the next one)
