Happy New Year!

I'm curious how you handle situations like this on IOI's.

Am I wasting my time, or not seeing possibilities, or somewhere in between?

It sounds like she's interested but afraid of cost??

Hi Bern,

I have been 100% inactive with dating for around a year now.

My last two year relationship ended after my birthday week in late November 2024 (he ended up being a liar, a cheater and quite mean to me; particularly on both my birthdays :/).

I then very much unsuccessfully tried my luck with online dating again, from late December through mid January 2025.

After that although it's something I've always desired [@ my "happily ever after"], I pretty much decided it may just be best I no longer prioritize being in a romantic relationship.

I value true sincerity, authenticity & honesty (all traits I completely offer), and most importantly, my peace.

I see—you’ve been inactive for about a year and decided to protect your peace.

Let me ask you this: If you knew how to date in a way that protected your peace and filtered out dishonest men early...

Would moving toward a sincere, committed relationship feel like something you’d want to focus on now… or more like something for later?

Regarding your inquiry, perhaps now

.....under the right circumstances.

I realize there's 'no better time than the present' but no longer feel the need to go out of my way to rush things, especially when it comes down to my most important human relationship; second to my relationship with God (my ultimate Provider) of course.

I also realize specifically working with you/ your team would potentially require a significant financial investment, therefore I would need to take that into consideration as well.
