The Real Upgrade
When I first started using AI, I believed every improvement came from finding a better prompt.
So I spent a lot of time tweaking instructions, testing different wording, and searching for "perfect" prompts.
Eventually, I noticed something surprising.
The biggest gains weren't coming from the prompts anymore they were coming from the systems around them.
Creating a simple folder structure. Saving reusable templates. Keeping reference documents in one place. Having a consistent workflow before and after using AI. Those small habits reduced friction, improved consistency, and saved far more time than another round of prompt tweaking.
It made me realize that AI becomes much more valuable when it's part of a repeatable process instead of a one-off conversation.
I'm still refining my own workflow, so I'm curious to learn from others here.
What's one small system, habit, or workflow you've built that quietly had the biggest impact on your AI results?
