Should I give my customer my API source?
I have a potential customer that I’m working with sent over proposal. We’re working on a real estate application for him and his coaching business. And we’re going back-and-forth over the source of the data. The source is coming from a few different API sources. He is asking me to give him the sources so he can verify that everything is legit and that it can be Used commercially. I told him that it was indeed commercially available, and that he wouldn’t have any issues because he’s gonna sell the data to his students. He has a good reputation in the real estate community but still business is business and I do not want to give up my sources. I do not want to create competition because he may be able to go and get the work done for cheap. What will be the best move?
