Part 2: My Ten Commandments of Agentic AI
This one’s not new to you if you’ve been here for a minute.
Thy agent shall be no more than a folder. The same message Jake pushes over and over again. I wrote this for the wider world outside clief notes but worth reminding here.
The same benefits that you’ve seen over and over come when you define your agents as instructions given to an LLM and not some fancy harness or framework you paid someone for:
  • model agnostic workflows
  • Systems that will last past the next feature update
  • Easily modular and serviceable systems that you can understand by reading through them
It’s a simple thing and most of us are already doing it but if this doesn’t resonate with you, do you some looking at exactly what you have built so far and ask if it will last.
