My friends think VSCode is a hacking simulator
Greetings everyone!
I ran into a bottleneck here and I am not quite sure how to
solve it.
I got some feedback from a few friends who said that the folder system
works great conceptually, especially after I did a demo and answered their
questions, but the biggest obstacle is having to use VSCode to manage the
folders and files.
They feel it is missing a much simpler interface to interact
with the workspaces.
I thought about building a local control panel to run the harness
under the hood.
I tried setting this up using OpenCode + my custom GUI, but the interface was too clunky
and the user experience was terrible.
A few weeks later I saw Jake’s new system and it blew my mind, it was pretty much exactly
what I had been trying to achieve.
Naturally, I am now thinking of building a much simpler, local, single user
version with a friendlier GUI.
Does anyone have a roadmap or suggestions on how to build something like this?
Has anyone built a similar lightweight GUI wrapper for ICM workspaces?
Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
