Weekly Leaderboard: Bryson takes the win!
Congratulations to @Bryson Bossley , pulling insane numbers on the weekly leaderboard. One of our OG's here at Clief Notes. Since Bryson already has Lifetime VIP, he gets a 30 minute 1-on-1 with Jake! ⏰ The 7-day clock resets. Next Monday someone new takes the top spot. 🎯 How it works: - 📝 Post things worth reading - 💬 Help people in the comments - 🛠️ Share what you're building, what's working, what's breaking - ❤️ Engage with what others are putting out there The leaderboard tracks all of it.

Hey @Shirsho Guha, I’ve been around, I’m in Lyceum, can I gift my session with @Jake Van Clief to @Pascal Pollack ?

Also, not too shabby for an old Unc eh? 😉
@EVERYONE - This is what it’s all about
@Pascal Pollack THE LEGEND put words to something I’ve had my mental finger on for a while and couldn’t quite put words to yet. https://www.skool.com/cliefnotes/what-can-we-build-together?p=36d66d76 PLEASE go watch his video, read the post and let us know how we, the Clief Notes Community, can help you and what you bring to the community. https://www.skool.com/cliefnotes/what-can-we-build-together?p=36d66d76 There is so much expertise and love in this community it’s unreal 🫶 https://www.skool.com/cliefnotes/what-can-we-build-together?p=36d66d76

Posting my Imperfections - Video 2 - The Claude Side
Hi all! Video two is done. The first one was the human side of how I work. This one is the Claude side: how I run it so the right model does the right job, without me having to tell it. It's 3 minutes 45 seconds, and I explain it as a mechanic's shop: - Haiku is the parts runner - Sonnet is the mechanic - Opus is the foreman - The Fable models are the specialist I call in on purpose You don't pay the foreman to fetch a filter, and you don't ask the runner to decide if the engine is worth saving. Then it covers how my rules sit in layers (one for everywhere, one for each project), why that keeps the cost of a request down (the cache), how helpers and workflows use it, and my own numbers from the last month. About 96% of my input tokens were cache reads, which at public list prices works out to roughly 90% cheaper than paying full price for every token. That's list-price math, not my bill, and the video says so. I'm not saying it's perfect or right. It's just what we built. I'm still learning and I still get things wrong, so if you spot something I got wrong, please tell me. Video: https://youtu.be/6RonYbHcbbw First video, if you missed it: https://www.skool.com/cliefnotes/the-most-productive-procrastination-period-ive-ever-had Heads up: the narration is an AI clone of my own voice (ElevenLabs), every drawing is an illustration, and I wrote the words and directed Claude to build it. Which model do you reach for first, and what makes you switch up or down?

@Shaun Lawton you are very welcome. Implementation will constantly evolve in my opinion, my system is aimed at flexibility and adaptability to reduce “downtime” during “updates” Good luck 🤝

The most productive procrastination period I've ever had!
Hi all 👋 This is my first post and video. I have been a VIP member since March. I continue to learn and get value from all aspects of this community on a regular basis. I also joined the Lyceum recently to better understand how to translate everything that I have been learning and processing for the last ~6 months into a tangible skill, product, business and more. The progress that I have made so far has been well worth it. Given that its structured like a class, there are assignments, deadlines, group work, etc. That means more opportunity to procrastinate! In my most recent bender of procrastinating, I decided to be productive and try new things. I made a video in attempt to summarize many recent updates to how I work with Claude on a day to day basis. So here's my version... and it was supposed to be 30 seconds. It's version five and a bit over five minutes. I got way off track, lost the plot and burned way too many tokens - but I learned a lot and fun along the way! Hope there is something in there for at least 1 person 🙌 My Human Harness - First video I've ever made - Posting my imperfections

@Stephen Hausch Thank you! I agree, I'm not a developer so the coding is a by product and I quickly hit the cap with "vibe coding" in that I could imagine an outcome or thing but ai was struggling. Adding the harness to myself allowed the ai and I to have a better relationship basically. ? Everyone is so focused on memory and second brain, they often forget this port or try to solve with with memory alone.
Claude Max 20x Is Now “Ultra”—And the Limit Is Officially 10x
We saw this coming for months.. I thought something felt off the last couple of days... Anthropic has officially renamed its $200/month Claude Max 20x plan to Claude Ultra. When Anthropic launched Max in April 2025, it advertised the $200 tier as offering up to 20x more usage than Pro. The new Ultra plan is now officially listed as providing 10x Pro’s weekly usage. Anthropic’s email says your “weekly usage limit stays the same.” That may mean the reduction had already been rolling out—or that the practical weekly cap was changed before the new name became official. Either way, the customer-facing offer has moved from **20x to 10x**. And we’ve had signs this was coming: - Anthropic introduced weekly limits in August 2025 - Users have increasingly reported hitting the Max 20x weekly cap much sooner than expected - Recent independent testing indicated Anthropic was A/B testing different Max 20x limits across accounts - Some users reported their weekly capacity already felt much closer to 10x than 20x Now the new plan documentation makes it explicit. What changed - Max 20x is now called Ultra - The price remains $200 per month - Ultra officially includes 10x Pro’s weekly usage - The rolling 5-hour limit is being removed for verified accounts - Usage can be spread across the week instead of being constrained by 5-hour windows - Max 5x is now simply called **Max** and remains $100 per month Removing the 5-hour limit is genuinely useful. Long Claude Code, Cowork, and background tasks should be less likely to stop halfway through a session. But we shouldn’t confuse greater flexibility with greater capacity. Anthropic is removing one restriction while formalizing a substantially lower usage multiplier than the one attached to the original $200 plan. The company can call it Ultra, but the underlying offer is now 10x usage for the same price previously associated with 20x. My read: the name change lets Anthropic retire the “20x” promise while presenting the transition primarily as an upgrade and silently lowering usage limits.

@Gregory Chrysler the day this happened, I did ultimately have an error where I ran more Opus than I thought and Fable too. I personally don't use Fable at all and hardly touch Opus. Maybe five percent or less of my sessions or subagents are Opus which made it more surprising.

@Rubén Menéndez Right on!! I've personally been enjoying different meta harnesses for many or multiple coding agents - https://paseo.sh/ && https://stencil.so/tern for starting points 🤪
