My biggest takeaway from @iscalelabs was how complex AI agent frameworks can be simplified into a well-organized folder system with Markdown files.
Instead of constantly feeding AI massive prompts and repeating context, we can use a central AGENTS.md file as a map that directs the AI to the right folders, instructions, and skills. This creates a single source of truth, reduces unnecessary token usage, and makes the system easier to maintain and reuse across different AI models. What really made it click was the demonstration where an agent navigated through multiple folders and instruction files to complete a task without needing the entire workflow explained in the initial prompt. It showed how powerful simple file-based instructions can be.
I'm currently building AI-powered workflows using Codex on my VPS, and this is exactly the approach I want to implement. My goal is to create a structured, reusable system where agents can navigate projects, access only relevant context, and pick up where previous sessions left off.
The biggest realization: smarter AI systems don't necessarily require more complex frameworks. Sometimes better organization is the real game changer.
