1๏ธโฃ High Value Posts
This is the big one. Gathering likes is a numbers game. Your content has to be of value to the widest ranging audience as possible. Your post on your 10 tiered folder structure replacing your entire department may be impressive to the top of the top in the forum, but to those just getting started their eyes will gloss over. Most people who come in here are being brought in because they are trying to learn, focus there.
Look at this post:
This is a poll I created, something literally ever member here can answer and give their story to. This is not only a post relevant to everyone but it points out something important: the results from the poll. Most people here are beginners. Remember that if your goal is to engage as much of the community as possible.
Some other high performing posts that have this focus:
A megathread pointing everyone to all the weekly competitions in one area. Again, something everyone can use and reference. High enough value that Jake posted it to the Getting Started classroom page.
A repo containing a tutor for software architecture fundamentals
A repo containing a tutor for ICM fundamentals who walks the user through Jakes classroom content while helping them actively build the lessons in context.
Make posts that pertain to as many people as possible. Not only will you maximize your likes, but you will meet the most new faces as well and help out as many folks as you can.

2๏ธโฃ Direct Engagement
Comments, comments, comments
Look at the profiles of all the top all time leaderboard holders. Theres one thing that almost everyone has in common: contributions count. Over 100 contributions. Engage with the community and it will engage with you. It is rare that if you reply to someones comment with genuine interest that you will not earn at least 1 like if not more.
Look at our latest weekly winner: . I am certain all of you have seen his smiling face, warm support and encouragement in every other post across this forum. The result: 1000 points in the last couple of weeks. I've watched the entire thing happen in real time, he puts in the work authentically and consistently and the community responds the same. There are a couple of areas to focus if you want to be more methodical:
- The getting started, who's here, and other entry threads. - There are constantly new faces in the community introducing themselves and looking for help. Be that help. Welcome them to the community. Network and be a resource.
- High performing posts - by definition, this is where the conversation is. The most faces are there and likely to continue to be there so be involved.
- Smaller posts that are highly topical for what you are focused on - if you see something very specific that you know a ton about or have a lot to say about, go involve yourself. If you help and make quality connections, you will build relationships that will sustain themselves over time. This compounds once you have people on your side.

The beauty of the Skool point system is that being like-driven, it encourages high quality engagement because no one is just giving them away. Go get involved and before you know it you will be at the top as well. ๐
