The walk was about 6.5 miles in total and quite overgrown in places, with some of the access cut off by the farmer, so we had to take a bit of a detour from the planned route.
We started from home, walked around the quarry, which is owned by Tarmac, I think. We then walked through a field full of cows, including a bull, but luckily he wasn't interested in us as he stayed at the far end of the field. Across a few cornfields, the railway track, through the village and then more cornfields.
Here are a few photos. I also shared a video in my community, and this is the sort of thing we talk about in the Hills & Heart Hiking Club. If you're interested in joining, it's still FREE at the moment.👇
I might transition to paid soon, to make more use of Skool's new Growth Boost feature, but I haven't decided yet! What are your thoughts on this?
