Important Update + A Little Life Behind the Scenes 💛
Hey everyone, I wanted to pop in and be honest with you… I know I haven’t been around as much the last little bit, and I’m sorry for that. Life has been full in the best (and slightly chaotic) way. I’ve been: • Working on some new designs (I can’t wait to show you!) • Getting ready for a craft show tomorrow • Helping with a special workshop at church • Hosting the speaker with my husband • And getting everything ready for our trip next week We’re heading to a conference and then spending some really special time with our daughter… including her baby shower for her first child. 🥰 So over the next little while, I’ll be a bit quieter—but not gone. I will pop in here and there because… let’s be honest… I love this community too much to stay away completely. In the meantime, you are in very good hands. If you need anything at all, please tag or message one of our amazing admins: 👉 @Julie Findleton 👉 @Ruby Dack 👉 @Paul Brown 👉 @Suzane Mesheau I trust them completely, and if something truly urgent comes up, they know how to reach me. Thank you for being the kind of community that supports each other, steps up, and keeps things going. That’s what makes this place so special. I’ll be back on Monday, May 11th and look forward to catching up with you all then 💛 Kim
My First Stuffed Critter!
I just wanted to share a photo of my very first stuffed animal. I found JoJo JuJu's tutorial for a Highland Cow on YouTube, and simply had to make it. Highlands are so adorable! Mine is a bit wonky, but I'm thrilled with this first attempt.

Out of the mouth of babes
I really didn’t need anyone to tell me, but yesterday morning, first thing Campbell says when she comes to my room is, “this room is a mess!” Later in the afternoon when her brothers come in from school, they both say, “your room is messy!” I totally agree, so in an effort to become more organized, Campbell and I have been winding a way (40 skeins of yarn). She wanted to take a video of me too 🥴 When I return from vacation, I’ll be ready to jump right into knitting, and won’t be working in so much clutter. I forgot to move my Fitbit to my right arm, but when I did, I got some “steps” in.
