Thanks for tagging me! That "Swift" thingie is magnificent! I don't have a craft room as lovely as yours. I'm working in my living room so I really don't have room for that device. Also, I've not seen yarn (wool?) sold in that format. Is that a UK thing? Or do you purchase it at specialty stores (i.e., not Michael's or Hobby Lobby)? I've come cross only regular skeins and the Pound of Love the collapses into a ball when the label is removed. Any tips for using the winder with those yarns? Especially the ones that say you have to use from the outside? They hop around and create uneven tension while winding. Going to purchase a new winder and get some practice. But I'm always looking for hints, tips, and hacks! Thanks again! @Julie Findleton

Our Skool Standings. Well done everyone you’re doing great to get us to the top of the Skool Leaderboards. @Julie Findleton I was really sad to hear that he passed. I hope the world doesn't forget him too soon. When I have to state my name, I always say, "Lori Norris...like Chuck." My last name doesn't get confused with Morris so easily. LOL!

Addi Socks with a Heel.
Happy Easter everyone! Yesterday my time was spent trying to see how well I could do short rows on the Addi for socks. They are my love language.💕. After a whole day of some serious frustration, I came to the conclusion that I’m going to have to really work on that more to get short rows for heels and toes that look nice on the Addi. I did however make these with the 22 that uses a drawstring on the toe in the heel. This is a variation on a pattern and I found by Yay for Yarns. Are they perfect? No. And I don’t like socks and worsted weight. So they’re more like house slippers to me. But, I’m going to try this with doubled sock yarn, and see what the results might be. I will keep you posted!

I think they look great! Personally, I'm too warm-blooded for house socks, but I have some friends that would probably enjoy these!
