Soft Classic™ Solid Yarn by Loops & Threads®

Anyone have experience using this yarn on an Addi King? The reviews are mixed on the Michaels' website.

Some claim the skeins are a mess to get the yarn out of; others claim it's not soft and cuddly as they expected from previously getting it from JoAnns (when they were still open); if ordered online, apparently the order puller did not pay attention to color lot numbers.

Any feedback about this yarn before I invest in it for a hat and scarf for my sister-in-law would be greatly appreciated!
