Latest make.....

A cute bag. I followed a tutorial for a round bag by Crafty Turtle on YouTube.

I tweaked my design to include 2 handles instead of just the one she adds. I've also added a drawstring so the bag can be cinched closed.

The straps are crochet chains plaited together, I like these as they're less stretchy than a plain knit or crochet.

I added lace to the top to finish it off. I'm really pleased with how it looks.

I will definitely make more of these.

The yarn is an acrylic/wool mix aran and it was an absolute nightmare to start with. It was creating lots of tucked stitches. I cured it by running the yarn through folded up baby wipes! It smoothed the napp and the pulling the yarn through obviously stretched it a little. It went from impossible to use to ok to use by going slow 😁
