Oh, thank God! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ
Keeping all of our goals grounded in gratefulness is so important to the process; staying thankful for the good things in our lives. But then there are those moments when we know God intervened big time! πŸ’₯ Have you had an β€œOh, thank God!” moment recently?

I just wanted to pop in here and give you a quick update on something that happened this weekend that could have been really major, but wasn’t. Long story short, Friday night around midnight. My left arm started feeling really weird. After praying with Chico and not feeling any change, I asked him to take me to the emergency room. I knew something was very wrong, I just had no idea what it could be. So after many tests and a weekend in the hospital, it turned out I had two small strokes on the right side, which caused that sensation in my left arm. I’m very happy to report that there are no major residual symptoms, and I have some instructions and prescriptions moving forward to make sure this doesn’t happen again. I’m back home from the hospital and ready to attend my granddaughters birthday party, which will be happening at our house today! πŸ₯³ (I don’t really mean to sound so matter-of-fact about the whole thing, but that just seems to be how we roll. A storm comes, we we do our part and let God do His part, and keep on truckin’!) And I have to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who prayed for us. We have an amazing network of family and friends who immediately covered our situation in prayer after receiving texts either from us or those we had contacted. Chico and I are both extremely grateful for all your love and support. πŸ’ž

2025 Gratefulness Review!
Here's a fun project I learned about recently! (I had seen someone post this is another group I'm in and then I heard Terri Savelle Foy also recommend this.) When planning your goals for the upcoming year, it's a great idea to ground your goals in gratefulness. Look back at the previous year by browsing through your photo library on your phone. If you have some time to sit down and write in your journal or notebook, jot down at least one thing from each month that you are grateful for. Sometimes it helps to be reminded that you've done more and come farther than you remembered! Like me, you'll probably be saying, "Oh, yeah! I forgot about that!" After you've done your photo year in review, post one photo in comments below of something you are grateful for from last year. I'll post mine below, too!
Exciting Announcement!
I'm pretty happy about a new development in my current ministry journey at Faith Church. For Connect Groups, each of the campuses (well, a few are still needing filled) have their own Connect Group Director to help support their campus' Connect Group leaders. There has never been an Online Connect Group Director, but there is one now! Soon I will have the list of names and contact info of all the online leaders and I will be able to reach out to everyone. (I know some of you in this group lead an online group. You'll hear from me soon!) OK, back to my updates...I just wanted to share my good news with you! πŸ‘πŸ»
