God is Good! 🙌🏼
I just wanted to pop in here and give you a quick update on something that happened this weekend that could have been really major, but wasn’t.
Long story short, Friday night around midnight. My left arm started feeling really weird. After praying with Chico and not feeling any change, I asked him to take me to the emergency room. I knew something was very wrong, I just had no idea what it could be.
So after many tests and a weekend in the hospital, it turned out I had two small strokes on the right side, which caused that sensation in my left arm.
I’m very happy to report that there are no major residual symptoms, and I have some instructions and prescriptions moving forward to make sure this doesn’t happen again.
I’m back home from the hospital and ready to attend my granddaughters birthday party, which will be happening at our house today! 🥳
(I don’t really mean to sound so matter-of-fact about the whole thing, but that just seems to be how we roll. A storm comes, we we do our part and let God do His part, and keep on truckin’!)
And I have to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who prayed for us. We have an amazing network of family and friends who immediately covered our situation in prayer after receiving texts either from us or those we had contacted. Chico and I are both extremely grateful for all your love and support. 💞
