This is the part nobody talks about when it comes to government contracting. You can get registered…You can find bids…You can submit… But when they come back asking:“Who have you worked with before?” That’s where everything becomes real. So now I’m reaching out to my past clients to complete reference forms. Before you get to the money 💰 or the bids… there’s a setup most people skip. And neither one has anything to do with what I actually do 😅 This is something nobody really tells you when you first sign up for these platforms—once you’re in, they start sending EVERYTHING. So now I see why it’s important to slow down and actually review what comes in. Not every opportunity is YOUR opportunity. Right now I’m learning to:✔️ Read before reacting✔️ Filter what actually fits my business✔️ Stop wasting time on things outside my lane This process is real, but I’m getting sharper with it every day 💪 If you’re new to bids too… don’t get overwhelmed. Just get focused.

Downloaded 5 bids today. A few are due soon; the rest are later in the year. Haven’t gone through them yet—just getting everything lined up. Not chasing everything, just focusing on what fits my business. Learning the process and moving smart. 💪
