6 Bids In… Here’s Where I’m At🎉
My name is Michelle, and I run Chelle’s Custom Crafts. I’ve already submitted 6 bids, and I can tell you—it’s more detailed than people think. Every one is different, and I’m still learning something each time. I created this space to document what I’m actually going through—what I understand, what I don’t, and how I move through it. If you’ve ever looked into bids or thought about it, you already know… this is a process.

Behind the Bid: My Wins, My Losses & the Process 🎯
🎉 Big News! 🎉
On March 23, 2026, I submitted a bid for College Station ISD's Custom Clothing, Apparel, and Promotional Products contract. After months of waiting, I received an award notice on June 18, 2026. To be honest, I wasn't even sure I was reading it correctly. I had to send an email to get confirmation that I had actually been awarded the contract. Turns out, I was. 🙌 Moments like this remind me that entrepreneurship requires patience, persistence, and faith in the process. Sometimes you're so busy moving on to the next opportunity that you don't realize you've just achieved one.

Sometimes the Setup Looks Like a Setback
Entrepreneurship will humble you and motivate you at the same time. Today, I received notice that I was not selected for a contract I bid on. But instead of being discouraged, I found myself encouraged. Why? Because my business was reviewed. My proposal was considered. My company was competing for an opportunity that many small businesses never pursue. Every bid teaches me something. Every opportunity helps me grow. Every "not this time" gets me closer to a "yes." And the funny thing is... while I was reading that letter, I was reminded that sometimes God has a different win waiting around the corner. Stay tuned. I have some exciting news to share soon. 👀
