In September 2024, I took out a £20,000 small business loan with monthly repayments of £437.13 over a 5-year term. Due to my business underperforming, I contacted NatWest at the end of March 2025 to request help with affordability.
During several phone calls, I requested either:
- a temporary payment holiday, or
- an affordable reduced payment of £150 per month.
NatWest refused to negotiate, ignored my offer, and transferred my account to their “Recovery Team” without providing any support, despite being fully aware of my financial difficulty. What next steps i shoud take, because bank will pass my case to their 'recovery team' ?
