Never Give Up!
Played a AZ Golf One Day Tournament over the past weekend. It was at We-Ko-Pa Saguaro 🌵
What an awesome place!
After four holes, I was +8 !!!! Bogey, Double, Triple, Double (sounds like an In N Out order!!!).
Old Matt, prior to lessons with CB, would probably have focused on the scores, gotten upset, started thinking thoughts like “man, I suck at this game”…
But, I focused on process and picking targets. I stuck on it, and hung on to do T4 in the second flight (82 gross, 76 net), good for $50 gift card and a bit of redemption! First four holes in 24 strokes, last 14 in 58 strokes. Crazy game!!
Moral of the story - keep focused on the process, and never give up!!
