Has anyone built a system that scrapes public government/municipal websites for buying signals?
In Finland, municipalities publish meeting minutes (called 'pöytäkirjat') publicly online. These contain decisions about new projects, budgets, and the names of decision makers.
I want to build a pipeline that:
- Automatically scrapes these pages on a schedule
- Uses AI to classify which decisions are relevant buying signals for my business
- Extracts the decision maker names and roles
- Pushes qualified leads into my CRM (HubSpot/Twenty)
Basically a signal-based selling tool using public records instead of LinkedIn/Apollo. Similar concept to Alicent sales.
Has anyone done something like this? Any tips on the scraping + classification pipeline?
