ChatGPT wants to put fingers in all your company pies

Now that I’ve seen it written out, I’m not sure that’s the right title. Still, it’s a fascinating area in the development of AI at the moment. I’ve been thinking about building something manually that connects to several parts of my company: standard operating procedures, meeting notes, and my CRM.

The idea is simple. I can already go and look for information in these sources myself, but if I could just use a chat interface to query all my company data, it could save a huge amount of time. That said, I still feel a bit uneasy about it.

We use ChatGPT and other conversational AI tools every day to generate ideas and get quick answers, and products like Notebook LM are excellent for building data projects. But are we really ready to let ChatGPT in through the back door, the front door, and all the windows of our companies?
