🎉Live Call 8/8: ⁉️Hip issues for Scoliosis! (hip pinching, achy, etc)
⁉️Today's Live Class question: Hip Issues for scoliosis - front pinching, achy, etc - what can I do? The number one culprit is the weak GLUTE_CORE muscle. CORE Is not just in your belly, it's inside your glute! Check out the YouTube at 10:minute mark, you will be able to follow the exercise :) We are changing the format of LIVE classes, since most people have hard time making the call during the weekend/ summer, I will collect questions ahead of them and cover the questions every Saturday from now on! 🎉The workout: https://youtu.be/Ix93BuZ8-LQ 10:10 minute mark 💪Work with Me 1:1 Coaching (August is full, Waitlist for September) https://form.typeform.com/to/x9hYqGIu

Intro: Jenna - my spine history
Hello! Greetings from LA. I'm born and raised in both Korea and in the US and currently reside in Sunny LA. I'm 40 years old and besides pilates, I enjoy dancing of all kinds - jazz, hiphop, modern, ballet! I also am now really getting into my gym era ;D *[My Journey]* 🩻 I was a dancer my whole life. But at 28, I was diagnosed with: (now I'm 40 and pain free!) - Spondylolisthesis. - Sciatica. - Scoliosis.Stenosis. - Degenerative disc disease. Doctors wanted me to get spine surgery immediately. Instead, I wanted to solve it with exercise, and got stuck in the same cycle for years: PT exercises → dance → flare-up → acupuncture → massage → dance → flare-up again. I kept doing what I was “supposed” to do… but my back was not getting better. Then I found Spine-friendly Pilates. And everything started to change. I became so passionate about the method that I eventually became a Pilates instructor in 2019 while working full-time at Google as a Business Development Manager. Not because it was easy.💔 But because I knew this work could change lives. *[The Birth of BYB — Bulletproof Your Back]*💪 Since I have been teaching pilates since 2018 - I learned how to help not just me, but others. It was not “just Pilates” that helped me. It was the full system. - The habits. - The movement IQ. - The spine-friendly daily hacks. - The nutrition. - The sleep. The way I moved through everyday life. All of these things helped me make my back feel stronger, calmer, and more manageable — even with major diagnoses and bone-on-bone X-rays. So I packaged everything I had learned into BYB: Bulletproof Your Back. I started teaching it online while still working in corporate. And then my clients started getting better. Less pain. More confidence - In just 8–16 weeks! I was mind-blown. *[I’m All In Now]* I'm 40 years old, and I am pain-free! (My scoliosis, my Stenosis, Spondy, everything is still there, yet I'm pain-free). Now, I’m fully committed to this work.
