Safe in His Arms
He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me. (Psalm 18:19)
We can feel trapped by the pressures of life.
Financial burdens squeeze our budget.
Health issues torment our days with relentless pain.
Rebellious children keep anxiety high and confidence low.
Demands at work and home dominate every waking moment, giving no room to breathe.
Juggling the needs of elderly parents and young children takes every bit of strength.
We’re crushed under the weight, with no relief in sight.
The Lord takes no pleasure in your pain. He’s caring - not critical - when you’re exhausted.
He knows full well when circumstances are too hard and painful.
He knows when it’s all just too much.
God delights in you today.
He offers comfort, peace, and hope for tomorrow.
He’s strong enough to rescue you, his precious child.
Take your eyes off your situation and fix them on Christ.
Cry out to him in prayer as your deliverer.
Run to him as your strong tower.
He will bring you through to the other side.
*Lord, we’re trapped and tired.
Bring us out to your “spacious place” to find safety and rest.
Thank you for your love that never ends.*
*Amen.*
