How to forward voicemail to AI Agent

Hey guys, signed a ton of my first voice ai clients this week and realised I'm not really aware of the best way to get them to divert their voicemail to my agents number.

I know you can do some button pushing on the keypad to make this happen but when I tested it on myself it didn't seem to work.

Can anyone help with the best way to get clients to set-up call forwarding to direct it to my agent? Is manual button pushing the play? Or should they call their provider directly? Just looking for it to be easy for them.

More specifically, these clients are all diverting landlines if that changes anything significantly. Thanks!
