turning a gaming café into a self-running system (experiment)
I’m testing a small idea and would genuinely value input from people who’ve built or operated in the real world.
I’m experimenting with taking a very offline business (gaming cafés) and making just one layer of it feel more predictable and calm: availability, bookings, and basic automation so owners don’t live in WhatsApp and players don’t have to ask “PC free?” all day.
This is a lightweight prototype I built for context:https://gg-wellplayed-website.vercel.app/
I’m not trying to sell this — I’m trying to understand:
• Where would this actually break in practice? (staff, process, tech, customers?)• What would you remove before you add anything?
• If you ran a café, what’s the one task you’d want this to handle for you?
• If you’ve built SaaS, worked with local businesses, or operated physical locations, I’d really appreciate your perspective on whether this is directionally right or fundamentally flawed.
