Since the previous part seemed to help MANY people and was very well received, I've decided to do a part 2 to help even more people :)
Since the last part was more focused on getting started & doing outreach as well as sales, this part is going to be more focused on Service Delivery, Client experience, & How to onboard clients without a hassle (It gets BAD if you don't have a system, I say with experience.)
Client experience is Extremely Important. This is what makes them want to work with you over and over again.
Here are a few tips to Improve Life For Both sides & Increase Value and Credibility:
- Onboarding:
Most people go along with onboarding by simply texting their client on all the information, api's, One-Time Passwords & 2FA (Most annoying) and whatnot that they need. Most people with common sense will at least teach the client how to do it over textt but there's aMajorr Flaw with this sort of system...
You will KILL your client's experience and most likelybloww past your deadline.
Why?
Even though everything goes smoothly in your mind, that's not how the world plays out.
As a client with a business it is extremely annoying for them for you to message them every few hours asking for this or that and all these API keys where they have to do work or 10 different 2FA Codes to connect their software to your automation.
The best way to proceed with this is extremely simple yet Effective.
Onboarding Calls. That's right. That's it. Get them on a 30-minute call & walk them through everything live. Not a developer? Ask your developer to do it. This makes it so they not only have a much easier time giving you access to the APIs and such but a MAJOUR thing is that now they won't be receiving a million notifications about them having a OTP/2FA code that you need since you can get their 2FA code for connecting software on the call!
During the call, you can also hand them overana Onboarding For,,m which you can create using Tally, Typeform, Google form, Fillout, Lovable, Bolt, etc,. For completely free and have them fill it out live while you walk them through it. It works like a charm.

Deliver 3 Things Instead of Just 1.
Most people focus on just delivering the automation,
But if you create even a simple loom video explaining how everything works and how they can change things themselves without having to be technical, then that's already extremely valuable to them & also increases your credibility. Use that loom to generate a document using ChatGPT/Claude & You've Got Both a Video & Document for them to choose either one. Most even use both!

- Full Video Guide Explaining How Everything Works & What Your Client Can Change On Their Own
- Full Document Guide Explaining The Same Thing Above But With Text & Images
