Need Help: Google Calendar Keeps Disconnecting on Vapi
Hey everyone, I need a little help from anyone here who has connected Google Calendar to Vapi before.
I’m building a voice agent that needs to check availability and create Google Calendar events. But every time I connect my Google account in Vapi, it shows “Finished” — and then immediately goes back to **“Connect ”When I test the agent, Vapi throws this error:
Missing Nango configuration for tool type: google_calendar_check_availability_tool
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
- Removed Vapi/Nango access from my Google account permissions
- Reconnected multiple times (inside the tool & global integration)
- Tried a fresh API tool instance
- Selected the correct Gmail account
- Used Primary calendar
- Tested in a new Vapi workspace
- Even switched browsers
But the connection still doesn’t stick.
If anyone has faced this before or knows the exact fix, I’d really appreciate your guidance 🙏Even a small hint would help a lot.
