My first voice agent - fine tuning needed
Hi all, I (nearly) completed my first voice agent on retell.ai and am pretty chuffed so far. Cal.com integration, custom n8n workflows for rescheduling and cancelling appointments and lastly, a callback function. Of course, all details are being stored in a Google Sheets CRM. To make the agent sound more human, I wanted to include some pauses in the conversation. After some research, we should include - - - as pauses. This sometimes works, but it's not reliable. I am not sure if it is my prompt or what, but I would appreciate it if you could have a look at the snippet below and let me know what can be refined to achieve a slight pause of around 5 seconds. Say: "Let me check Mike's availability - - - - - - - - - - - - - Mike is currently with a client. I can arrange for him to call you back, or we can schedule a consultation. What works better for you?" Thanks in advance
