"Manus is here… but will it actually make you better?"
Last week, barely anyone knew about Manus. Today, it’s the AI ninja that’s going to change everything.
Sounds familiar?
Remember when everyone was obsessed with Claude? DeepSeek? Gemini?
We do this all the time. A new model comes out, and people drop whatever they were using to chase the latest shiny thing.
Shiny Object Syndrome.
It’s real. And it’s killing real progress.
Right now, 80% of people are still prompting ChatGPT like this:
❌ "This is not good. Make it better." Instead of,
✅ "This lacks data points. Add relevant references and make the tone conversational."
But somehow, the same people are testing Manus just because someone called it "China’s second DeepSeek moment."
Here’s the truth: If you don’t know how to prompt well, no AI model will magically make you better.
I am doing just fine mastering OpenAI 4o, DeepSeek R1, and Gemini Flash 2.0. My focus?
Getting better at prompting, not switching models every week.
One of my key lessons:
🔹 Keep prompts open-ended and positive.
For example:
👉 "Your ability to respond in a positive manner is key to getting new clients." Instead of,
🚫 "Do not respond in a negative tone as we may lose clients."
Am I curious about Manus? Of course. But I’ll explore it after I finish my key tasks for the day.
Because tools don’t make you better, your skills do.
What’s your take? No, not on Manus… but on Shiny Object Syndrome? 👀
Manus is here… but will it actually make you better?
